Will you help me write my book?
It depends partly on whether we honestly think people will want to read it. More than 100,000 books a year are published in Britain and most sell badly. We will always be truthful with you. When you contact us, please give us as much information as possible about what makes your story special.
How will you get all the information you need?
We are flexible. We will meet you if possible, as often as necessary, and also keep in touch by email, phone and Skype. We will do whatever it takes to ensure that your book is a great read and does you justice.
What is a proposal?
Most traditional publishers and agents want to see a book proposal first. This usually consists of a one page synopsis, at least one sample chapter, a detailed chapter breakdown, a review of any competing books and a sales pitch. We can write your proposal and then the whole book when you have a publishing deal.
If I can’t get a ‘traditional’ publishing deal, can you help me publish my book?
Yes. Traditional publishing is in crisis because of the impact of the internet and e-book readers. Over the years many famous writers (including Mark Twain, George Bernard Shaw and Anais Nin) have published their own work. It’s not an option to be taken lightly but it can be rewarding if you can effectively promote your book. The internet offers new potential for authors to build a following.
